Crashed was probably on my top list of most anticipated books of this year. To be honest I was so nervous every time I thought about this book and even going into it. I knew that Colton and Rylee would get their HEA, I mean my god if anyone deserved a happily ever after it was certainly these two. But I also knew that their journey would be a very emotional one. I feared what or who would come in between them. How hard would they both have to fight for each other and how much would they have to go through to get to their happy ending. Crashed was simply fantastic and everything I could have asked for and more. K. Bromberg is an amazing and talented writer and completely blew me away with the third and final installment of this series.

First of the all the prologue alone was simply brilliant, enough said. Crashed starts exactly where Fueled left off. Colton is fighting for his life and Rylee is there by his side fighting and waiting for him to come back to her. When Colton wakes up there is a slight possibility that he may not remember what happened, he may forget parts of his life. And if that does happen how will it have an affect on his relationship with Rylee?

There is so much that I would love to tell you about but do not want to ruin it for anyone. This is Colton ad Rylee’s journey to finding happiness. But it is anything but an easy one. There are many obstacles along the way, and I am not talking small road bumps either. Colton is still that damaged man who doesn’t think that he is capable of love. We have an idea what he went through as a child but believe me it is nothing compared to the truth. In some ways he is still that little boy who is scared, who has this distorted version of what love is. He doesn’t think he is capable of it nor does he believe he deserves it. He needs to move on from his past in order to be happy and have a future with Rylee. He needs to break down the thick walls that he has built and let Rylee in. He needs to heal and move on. Crashed is about Colton and Ryee fighting for love, for their relationship and for each other. No matter how many times you push the other away, their love for each other is strong enough to bring them back.

I am sure anyone who has read this series is in love with Colton just as much as I am. He is a broken man and your heart just breaks for him. He loved Rylee whether he was able to admit it or not. And there were times he pushed her away but there were times when he fought for her as well. That moment where it all comes out, where you learn of his past will completely rip your heart out. It is completely gut wrenching. You feel every bit of pain that he went through as a little boy. Your heart will completely break for that little boy and the man that he has become because of it. The words and the way it was written makes you feel like you were right there with him listening to his story and you want nothing more than to be able to hold him and tell him that it will be ok and that no one can hurt him now. I loved this damaged man and he completely captured my heart.

I loved Rylee more than I have loved any heroine. She is by far one of my faves. She loved Colton with everything that she had. She fought for him. She was everything that he needed. She knew what he needed and when he needed it She never judged him and never gave up on him Their journey wasn’t just about Colton and his past and how he deals with it. Ryle is broken in her own way as well. She too has her own heartache. Together they make each other whole and help each other to heal

Now lets talk about Becks, because if you thought you loved him in the first two then wait until you read Crashed. Colton and Rylee both fought for their happily ever after but in a way so did Becks. He loved his best friend and wanted to see him move on from the past and be happy. And he knew that the only one that could do that for him was Rylee. He too fought for them. I loved their bromance and the banter back and forth. But what I loved the most was the friendship that he formed with Rylee. He may have been Colton’s best friend but he was an amazing friend to Rylee as well and a great support system for them.

I couldn’t gush about this book and not mention Colton’s father. He is everything a father should be. He loved his son and wanted to see him happy. He just wanted him to see what an amazing man he has become and that he deserves happiness.

Crashed was in a word amazing. I cried many times, some were happy tears and some were tears of heartache. My stomach dropped a few times, where I found myself holding my breath not being able to read fast enough to find out what happens next. I wanted to punch Tawney on more than one occasion. This was one heck of an emotional ride. There was drama, angst, heartache, gut wrenching scenes that will rip your heart out. But Ms. Bromberg managed to put all the pieces of my heart back together. The epilogue was simply fantastic and perfect in every way. This is one of my favorite series and one that will stay with me forever. It is the story of a broken alpha male and a broken girl who fought the fight and came out on top . It is a story about moving on from your past and learning to heal. Learning to let people in and most of all learning what the true meaning of love is.

Crashed was the perfect ending to an amazing story. To put it in terms of racing: Kristy Bromberg went for the mother f&*^ing checkered flag and my god did she get it

Excerpt #1
And the only thing I can focus on—can grasp onto as my heart races and body
shakes with anger—is that I need a pit stop. I need to find Colton. I need to touch him, to
see him, to quiet the turmoil in my soul.
But I can’t.
He’s somewhere close, my rebellious rogue unable to let go of the damaged little
boy within. The man who has just started healing is now broken, and it kills me that I
won’t be able to fix him. That my murmured words of encouragement and patient nature
won’t be able to repair the immobile and unresponsive body that was loaded onto that
stretcher and rushed to somewhere within these walls—so close yet so very far away
from me. That he has to rely on strangers to mend and heal him now. Strangers that have
no idea of the invisible scar tissue that still lingers beneath the surface.
More hands reach out to touch and soothe me, Dorothea’s and Quinlan’s, but
they’re not the ones I want. They’re not Colton’s.
And then a terrifying thought hits me. Every time Colton is near, I can feel that
tingle—the buzz that tells me he’s just within reach—but I can’t feel anything. I know
he’s physically close, but his spark is nonexisten
